Downclock it.



4080 is the Physical Limit of this Generation ( run at reasonable stability)
4090 is just an experiment. ( or you can just power down it to match 4080, run Best )

4090 only for benchmark, not daily use if you keep pushing it to max.

cant bro my set come with liquid cooling , so the seller took the fan part already, mean the warranty are voided

i was try to downclock , after that then screen blank already , gpu total faulty, i think is the solder part not well

this card not capable to press down the high temp ( especially during load )


fixed GPU 1st, then downclock it.


Downclock impossble to turn GPU faulty....
if you really understand how it work

download a GPU meter u know, when not in Gaming, GPU clock is super low, also the consumption.


What you need to do is make sure This CARD wont go Full Turbo. Limit its top speed helped

4090? Have you tried to check if its not due to PCB board cracking.

I dont think will be easy to find locally, need the repair skills of these gurus

Also while tempting to do your own solder reflow, they both dont advice to DIY it.

What is your full pc spec including power supply brand and model? Power supply can get old as well.

Seller took the fan part like how? upgrade radiator existing fan?the seller you mentioned are previous owners?mean you buy 2nd hand GPU?

my psu is rog thor 1000w all working well but i dout is psu also

no this is liquid cooling so no more the fan

no cracking , no even heat , power got light , pc working well but the mobo showing white light (vga) no detect issue

What is your CPU? 1000W is not comfortable level for RTX 4090. Especially after using for years.

Do you have all the other GPU cooler parts? If you could put them back together, you might be able to bring it back to shop try claim RMA but tell them you have taken it apart to check so you will bear the repair costs. At least fair to the shop.

Probably someone like Armand666, but I wonder whether how well he can handle something like a 4090 as it is not an easy card to repair
