Last week after change radiator tank ( the big square metal with fin)
The car fuel meter will randomly reset to 0....
Not always...
Just will suddenly reset...
After pump fuel...
It show correct again...
Myvi 2nd gen ...
Possible someplace cause the problem?

Wiring to car battery or fuse as I saw on YouTube...

not battery... just wiring/connection from the tank... cold/loose joint somewhere or level switch... wireman can check...

Range and the 8 portion bar indicate fuel level....
Fc also reset....
For Mr range or bar more important cos want to know fuel left how much...

Just now ask workshop...
Say is fuel pump....
And it cost almost 500 to change....
And also say try change fuel pump see first else change meter....
Possible?

Maybe ask another workshop for 2nd opinion? Usually fuel pump once k.o only need to be replaced

What if try dismantle both the battery connection for few hours, for resetting function. Then install back? See if that solve this?

plan to find other workshop for second opinion...
or worst just send to P2 service center.....
cos i think impossible is fuel pump cos previous no this problem...

Either wiring or float problem.

the workshop boss also say maybe float ...
but previous no this problem...
problem start after the workshop replace radiator which remove battery etc...

should be relatively easy to test... when next time car meter got problem... find wireman or good workshop see float got signal or not...

car not jerking most likely not fuel pump...

My past experienced with Waja fuel pump, b4 it kiock, felt really underpower like need full throttle to get 120-130kmh. Then parked at restaurants for lunch, cannot start it back. Agreed with u must be some wiring issues etc

yes... before kaput underpower... rev it hard will start jerking... take fuel line off n jumper the fuel pump can test flow/pressure...

got chance also is fuel pump because karma bad... hahaha... never say never...

Some time I drive….
The car will sudden lost power and gain back in second…..
Possible fuel pump fault?
Like when I slowing down and them press accelerator it will lost power and gain back….
The car can hear got sound like engine falling down….

If car already more that 7 years, why not just change it
