I see many people drive the Corolla Cross, especially the hybrid. Why is it so popular? I have a friend that drive one, the interior looks dated to me.

The cheapest non p1&2, non saloon (feels good crossover) for flash flood and higher bumper for rempit buttsek and frontal impact. Higher sitting and door panel in the event kena t-bone by rempits. Higher side mirror from rempits kicking.

Higher eye view from cabin, can spot rempits better🙄

i'm Toyota Cross Hybrid owner. from my own experience, the car is very fuel efficient. Since I own it Oct last year the average kilometre per litre is 20.5km/litre petrol. I never reset the average counter. From this average information i can drive 100km with RM10. I once drove the car from Gombak to Cameron Highland, stay there for 3 days and visit few places then went back to Gombak all with full tank of petrol. I'm using the normal driving mode, not Eco mode or Sports mode.

Altis has double wishbone rear suspension. It should be more fun to drive than Cross with torsion beam.

And easier to run over kids and old folks because high command view position means you cannot see what is next to your bumper.

Drives superbly doesnt mean its fast dude. It means its ride and handling is way way better than HRV.FC is amazing too. Nobody is racing in an SUV anyway

My personal opinion, my parents can go in and out of my car no issue. But I saw few times kids and older folks actually fell down while going out of the car - esp raining

b) priced at 136k, instead of other non-hybrid CX-5, CR-V, HR-V, X-trail, Hyundai, Kia.

c) fuel consume claim 6-7l/100km

d) Toyota brand for hybrid technology ( years from Prius )

e) price of ownership, and price retention value

f) 1.8 road tax...compare to 2.0

g) the add-on features, etc...regardless of boring interiors

h) better brand than China's 1.6T engines/reliability/services/parts/safety
