A proper scholarship, like my ASEAN award, or later, the scholarship for my medical degree in Australia should come with the amount awarded clearly stated - eg, the annual fees for my course over 6 years, in addition to any stipend and any additional benefits, eg healthcare insurance, concessions for buses and train tickets and whether flights to and home are covered.

That’s how my scholarship awards spelled out the details to leave no doubts as to what was covered, and what was not.
