i'm replacing my parent phone with Honor X9b initially, then it comes to my mind, Honor 200 lite also around the same price.

i just changed to Honor 200 pro about 1 month ago.

Your parents clumsy or not? My parents go for X9b as they always drop their phone and almost 6 months using no screen crack yet.

70+ yo i think no matter how also will drop phone alot...

other than drop phone on screen crack to consider, what else feature can either X9b or 200 lite standout?

FYI, my old parents just use to see wechat/whatapp msg, facebook, tiktok, youtube only.
All these application are quite basic and did not even need very high end phone. For my opinion X9b is already overkill for their use.

its not about the feature of the phone can offer that makes me want to buy new phone for my parent, its the banking app give notice that android 10 is no longer supported
to be safe, need to change phone, to continue to use the banking app safely

X9b already come with Android 13, banking apps are nothing to worry.

I don't think both phones are at the same price? My brother-in-law has an offer to get either free Honor 200 Lite, or top-up RM300 for the X9b with the Maxis promotion. He picked the X9b after paying the extra RM300. The overall specs of the X9b is better. If he picked the Honor 200 Lite, it will be a free phone for him.
