What is the most comfortable bike for malaysia highway?
Usage is travel from KL to all parts of malaysia. Maybe twice a month.
Use to owned 4sbk.
But now old already so now only have cb4.
If ride more than 150km/h. The fuel consumption are high.
End up need to top up at every stop.
So for 1000cc sbk. Either i ride slow or fast, the outcome is almost the same.
I am looking for bike that cruise 180km/h without needed to refuel for 3-400km journey.
Bike must be comfortable to ride 400x2 km each journey.
Please share any experience u guys had, since i never had any experience on touring bike.
Last i had is using z1000 kl-kt day trip.
My neck so painful and got fever somemore.

Not sure if this is a troll post.

Cruise at 180 and get 400kms a tank?

If you got such experience riding all these bikes you say you do, you wouldn't be asking this question.

Go buy a tiger 1200 explorer or GSA.

Even then it would be a tall order for those mile munchers to get 400 at 180

If you are not looking for speed but just outright range king, then can look at the Zontes ZT155G. Street scrambler bike. 20L tank. Famously able to go 1000kms on its 20L tank.

Previously use sbk just go karak n klawang only.
Now got work demand to go outstation.
I just thought that bigger cc bike might have low fuel consumption when travel on highways since the rpm should be lower i supposed.
I will pinjam my fren gsa1250 to test to penang.

Yes and no.

But not at 180kmh as air drag increases exponentially with speed.

But yes, if you drive the small bike and big bike the same way, fuel consumption don't vary too much..but you have the benefit of the bigger tank on the bigger bike.

If I cruise at 130, my dominar 400 gets the same fuel consumption as my NK800, despite being twice the engine capacity and cyc and making 3x the power.

As someone already mentioned, your best bet would be the BMW GSA and Tiger 1200 explorer with the 30L tank.

Ducati's Desert X is rumoured to have available rear fuel tank option so that is also a consideration if you want a middle weight bike.
