If not happy with the trade-in price, can try to put at Marketplace and hope people pay you higher than trade-in price.

I actually sold my own iPhone not too long ago. I didn’t want to deal with lowballers or flaky buyers like you get on Carousell or FB Marketplace, so going to a trade-in service felt a better choice. What worked best for me was using a comparison website to check different recyclers and see who would give me the most cash up front. Some places give you pretty low offers, but if you compare across a few, you can really see a big difference. I found a site where you can sell mobile phone very easily. It got me a better deal than any other place I had checked, really close to the market price.

I’ve tried selling my iPhone through various platforms:
Online Platforms: You need time to answer questions, share photos, meet buyers, and may deal with lowball offers. It works if you have the time and patience. Third-Party Retailers (e.g., SenQ, Machines): Straightforward and convenient, they inspect the phone on the spot, I think now online is possible too. It’s quick, but the trade-in value may be lower than selling it yourself. Apple Store: Best experience so far. Just walk in with your phone, they scan, inspect, and give you an offer within minutes. I found the fairly price, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free. You’ll receive store credit in the card that to use for your next purchase. Overall, I’ll stick with the Apple Store going forward, it’s just too convenient. |

QUOTE(xHj09 @ Jul 29 2025, 09:52 AM) is it higher than trade in? last time i used, malaysia dont have apple store yet. considering to trade in w/ apple store, but apparently they will collect on the spot and cannot wait for transfer.. lol. cash on delivery will be lower than what switch or machines trade in offer but not much, like Rm100-Rm200. |
