Why Media Prima channels on Astro are not in HD?

Not sure if this has been asked multiple times but why channels like TV3, TV8 and TV9 on Astro Ultra are still in SD while on Unifi TV the quality is night and day? Kinda regret for switching to Astro.
Any idea will these channels get the HD treatment? |

Media Prima does not want to pay extra for HD. If want HD, then go terrestrial broadcast. They think they are popular and no need to rely on Astro.
