I am planning to upgrade from my current Vario 150 scooter. Previously eyeing for ADV350 but now thinking to limit my budget to max 30K for OTR price (although afford for ADV350). I believed options available would be XMAX 250, Forza 250, Fortress 350, and Zontes 350e, however I think I would be deciding between Forza 250 and Zontes 350e.
Me bike noobs so only experienced Vario 150 (rented), Vario 160 (cousin's), ADV150 (first bike), ADV160 (second bike) and now ADV350.
Between the bikes you are considering and purpose of daily use through route with heavy traffic a.k.a. ability to ciluk.
Vario at 100kg can ciluk like kapzai.
ADV150/160 at 120kg, with a little getting use, can follow and ciluk like kapzai.
ADV350 at 185kg, after 2 weeks riding in town, not as nimble as kapzai but surprisingly quite easy too. Ran few trips Jalan Kucing from Batu Cave round about to Loke Yew / Pudu during peak hour. Could ciluk through as good as my ADV160, slower when switching lane going in front of cars to another lane.
Forza NSS and XMax has the same "narrow" body design like ADV350 so they can also ciluk well.
Zontes 350e at 210kg, on the other hand, it feels fat and wide when I sat on it in the showroom. The youtube video shared also mentioned this and compared against Forza and Xmax. While it's doable to ciluk, it will take a while to get use to.
For your thought of long trips, underseat storage in this category (250-350) is the best. Only slight difference between all the models you mentioned.
