I think if they want to expect Perodua level fuel save, this might not be good choice.

Since the powertrain like Engine and Gearbox are shared between X50 model which has been around in MY for more than 3 years (China launched 6 years ago) without premature failure, I think these are pretty ok for now.

Although ppl say this 3 cylinder is the dumping ground, but it is still pretty new compared to Toyota that still uses engine tech from about 18 years back, but hey some ppl don't mind paying for old tech which makes Toyota still selling pretty well today.

If the engine was really that flawless, they wouldn't have come out with the new Dynamic Force engine sad.gif

But like I said, if it works with Malaysian, why not right? it is more friendly in term of cost and profit.
