this, its well known that all these "performance enhancers" causes alot of damage to your heart especially
Only need to look at the number of pro-wrestlers that died early because of steroid abuse, and those who survive to old age all look frail beyond their years.

The drug issues are usually steroid or abuse of pain-killers leading to physical complications, others cannot ween themselves from the addiction and lost their minds. Lots of videos on YouTube eg.
Lex Luger is a example of a survivor but with issues. He's only 66, not 80+.

I don't follow body building and wrestling, so I appreciate your share of insights on how some of them turned out.

I think people should change goal, many people go to the gym they want to have the best body in term appearance only
Should go to the gym with mindset want the healthiest body, that way you won't even dare touch steroid, lift weights, won't skip cardio, won't skip stretches for mobility, won't do machine exercise that weaken joints, rest adequately, do injury prevention work out. If your body is fit and healthy it will naturally looks attractive

you gain so much muscle in so short time. you heart can keep up? should improve on cardio workout first to strengthen the heart.
just doing weight traiing and pumping body muscle and not your heart muscle is not sustainable.
Technically heart also a collection of muscle tissues. Anabolic steroids make every muscles bigger including heart muscles, bigger doesn't always mean better. Bigger heart muscle pump blood slower. Imagine those with too big body builder kind muscles man you'll see they move sluggishly slow, that's literally how their heart are, too big till it become less efficient in moving blood.

yup, bigger is just for show. that why i saying strengthen, not bulk up heart muscle.
most popular is the comparison between a body builder vs construction worker. then u see what is strong, what is just for show.

not sure about the gain muscle part, its more on these "enhancers" like pre workout has stupid effects on your heart
esp those with insane levels of taurine/caffeine. you saw those videos of where its suggested no more than 1 scoop a day? these fellas are prolly drinking >3 times that amount
