Why am i so fast come back from KL? Waaaa... I miss alot of good things...

I think theres more food and accessories than people selling pets. Hehe.

Want to ask... how do you give your gerbils a sand bath??? do you put that sand in different container???

Finally after 5 months I've got 5 babies.....

I pour some sand bath in a small aquarium, just a small one. Then let them goleng2.

How frequent do you guys clean the cage?

masculine, about the sane bath, u jus put it in the other container, when u clean cage or wat, then u can put the gerbs in there so they can sand bathing.

if u wan to put inside a jar then put in the cage can also, but then scared they will jus dig the sand out or put the bedding in the sand

abang brother, for the cleaning part, i not sure how's yours, but then see whether got strong smell or not, so the bedding too dirty, for mine i clean it about 1 month once, damn tired...
coz when i clean time, got 6 cages to clean, including my hamster cage...

ya i've been very busy with my coursework.. test after test after test.. then project after project after project.. =.=

Anyway, yesterday was the first time i heard my gerbil thumping.. one of them stood up and made this morse code like sound with 2 beats. doop doop! doop doop! lol..

Lucky 6~ " I got 7 including Hamsters and fancy mice, excluding goldfish!!
In a book says clean the bedding after 3-4 months. O_O

Thanks for the tip.... last sunday bought the sand in the mid-valley. Put the sand in small 10"x10" toyogo plastic..... then put mama and papa inside... I think they never seen this sand in their entire life.... They did not guling-guling but instead tried to climb out.... so I just used my hand to grab the sand and pour over them.... Their hair do look better but I think need several time so that they get used to it....

About the babies... out of 5, I think I loss one... Don't want to disturb them too much... First time mother so I think survival rate is a bit low...
