Teh Boy was sick for the last two weeks & I thought I'm going to loose him. But he managed to survive and he is now with nezu under treatment & he's recovering.

Yes. Go find nezu. My 2 boys also have teeth overgrown issue. 1 boy manages to grow back the upper teeth. Teh Boy doesn't and he needs frequent teeth trimming now.

Muahahahaha... I use 1 pack of 6 liter BC for my 2ft tank & I still feel like the bedding is not thick enough. But depends on how thick you prefer for them.

Do you know what colors you will get by pairing these 2 pairs? Calculate the colors you might get before you start the breeding.

Better find a vet or someone who knows how to trim the teeth else you'll be like me syringe feeding my boys till their last breath. Either they lost one side (top or bottom), you are not only syringe feed them till their last breath, you'll have to trim the teeth frequently depends on the speed of their teeth growing. I got 1 boy which his bottom teeth can grow super long in 2 weeks time.

Yes. Oat for human but try to get rolled oat. Try don't get instant one. You can PM jtl to get the survivor powder. It has all nutrition in it in powder form. Just need to mix some water to make it like in porridge form & syringe feed them.

As for the trimming part, you need someone to guide you. Most probably you need an assistance in order to help you to hold him and open his mouth. If you're able to go PS, Jack can help you on this or nezumitaro. It will not do any harm on them. The faster you can trim their teeth the better. Don't let the bottom teeth poke the upper part too long else upper teeth will never grow again.

Not all like to be syringe fed. You may need to first try use glucose to syringe feed them in order to make them eat from syringe. Once your boy's teeth is trim, you can actually mix the powder (survivor powder or staple powder) with some water & roll it into a small ball for them to eat.

Added on November 2, 2008, 10:18 pmNot every gerbil likes to be syringe fed. Some don't like to be hold & syringe feed instead prefer they take from the syringe themselves. Some totally cannot accept syringe feed. You can try this way to see they eat or not. Make the powder mix into soft rolled ball & give them. Watch out whether they eat it. If yes, then syringe feeding need not to be done. I got 1 boy who can let me hold & syringe feed him, 1 only eat from the syringe himself without me holding him & other fellas who do not like syringe feed at all but they eat from the rolled ball mix.

Nah... Not Teh Boy. Is Latte from Sakai tank. Gone with misery. He was active the night plus he was chubby before I found him gone in the morning.

What I mean is you do not need to hold him & pump food. They will stand there & all you need is just place the syringe & pump for them.

Hahahaha... This is normal for red eyed or pink eyed gerbils. They have poor eye sight compare to black eyed. ^^
