QUOTE(babymoli @ Oct 27 2008, 11:24 PM) Better find a vet or someone who knows how to trim the teeth else you'll be like me syringe feeding my boys till their last breath. Either they lost one side (top or bottom), you are not only syringe feed them till their last breath, you'll have to trim the teeth frequently depends on the speed of their teeth growing. I got 1 boy which his bottom teeth can grow super long in 2 weeks time. How come their teeth can grow long one? All gerbils will become like dat one izit? Or only 1 out of a few? Thanks.. |

Thumping d? Haha
Mine always thumping.. coz i move here n there, then one tank thump, the rest from other tanks follow.. like an orchestra!! hehe They r very funny when they thump.. they will gather near each other n stand for look of danger sign.. if all goes well, they will settle down.. not much of a problem for them to thump.. At least they r active k.. not passive.. Excitement or danger, then they thump.. U gotta see what else make them thump la.. They jumpy not? |

QUOTE(kaoru himura @ Nov 1 2008, 10:22 PM) aha now he's back to his original self d....huh so relief...but will monitor him summore to make sure he's really ok...maybe juz now he sakit perut or something....or maybe he' on the mood...but so glad he recover... Some of the mongolian gerbils will behave like paralyse if suddenly terkejut.. i will take care of him and mocha at my best...so dun worry ar...aha will find some time to upload pics of them soon, so you wont be so rindu la hihihi... Like the other day when i take turns to put gerbils out for a run, the male argente suddenly collapsed.. I almost pengsan too.. Then i quickly stroke him n put back in the tank.. He recovers in 2 to 3 minutes.. Its a self defense mechanisme.. They pura2 paralyse so wont be a victim to threats.. I can pengsan, i tell u.. hehe |

Dizzychef : U have to do split cage method to introduce them ya, if not they will fight till death.. It's best to introduce one to one, not 2 new fella to a clan of 4..
Post some pictures la k.. If it's a DEH = the white on the side will reach ear n eye level.. If Argente = the white will only be on belly n low on sides.. hehe |

QUOTE(dizzychef @ Nov 7 2008, 10:45 PM) Here some pic of sleepy eyes gerb i bought for gf Yup, those two r ARGENTE. Both males? Is this normal for gerb sleeping? ![]() ![]() The 2 of em ![]() ![]() is it a argente or honey eye? ps: Kelvin your gerbs is very active, jumping and thumping after i change new bedding. But i find them still kinda thin although the food i left always eaten. And the eyes also looks very very sleepy. The females are active right? Exactly like their mother. Jump non-stop, run non-stop, always got things to do. |
