I recently made an Glass Cabinet with 6mm tempered Glass. 4 feet wide and 6 feet tall. Each glass shelves is also 6mm tempered Glass. I noticed the glass sag/bend in the middle like 0.1mm? I placed a known straight steel bar and when i push the bottom part of the glass upwards in the center, the gap closes. Do i need to replace the shelves with thicker 8mm Glass, to prevent sag/bend in the middle? Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(dawja5215 @ Sep 10 2024, 11:39 PM) This might sound stupid, but what happens if you flip it over? Will it have a 0.1mm bump instead? Also a tempered glass (the normal ones inside refrigerators at least) can hold max 30LB+, that is 13KG+ if you're afraid it won't hold. I tried flip it over. it still flex/sag/bend.
