Straps that are compatible with Series 9 should be compatible with the Series 10 right?

This is correct, but if warranty is claimed at another country, may be subject to slightly different specifications. Example if some who claims warranty for his iPhone USA set in Malaysia, chances are he will be replaced with a Malaysia set which means he will get a unit with a SIM card slot whereas USA set is fully eSIM.

Would the smaller 42mm make more sense now unless one has huge wrist? Did you ended up still buying 46mm?

Just tried the new AW10 at a Switch outlet. 46mm display is huge but 42mm still looks a bit too small on me, settled with 46mm in the end. Pre-ordered the Titanium Slate version, not sure when but my guess would be after 18th since Apple Store’s estimated ship dates are around there.

No mentioned of any vouchers, maybe because mine is still at pre-order stage?

About extended warranty, I believe you're talking about their Smart Protection Plan underwritten by Prudential:

I haven't done further reading on such protection plans vs AppleCare, if anyone knows what's the pros and cons of each would be great.

Still waiting for stocks (Titanium case) for my “pre-order” with Switch. Could have gotten ready stocks from Apple Store but I had vouchers with Switch to utilize so no choice but to keep on waiting. Not sure what’s taking so long though since there are no signs of stock shortage.

Anyone with the jet black already have signs of the paint peeling?

Even if they replace it, the jet black paint coating just isn’t durable enough to cater for everyone. Apparently everyone’s sweat is different, some probably is more to the acidic kind which causes this.
