After compared with ip16e, I've decided go for ip16 itself.. Basically for my wife as hari raya gift, ultramarine purple 128gb, so any recommendations on casing and screen protector plus any other stuff should i get for this lovely phone

clear case to go with this awesome color is nice
alternatively apple silicon case and the color they offer is amazing
screen protector get those AR clear type

other stuff:
airpods
watch
airtag (to keep track husband whereabouts) 🤣

I won't mention airtag to her
For sure i will buy clear case for the ip16 ultramarine purple as it protect the phone and at the same time can retain the beauty of the phone color

for flat screen anti-reflect + anti fingerprint clear glass is the better performer 😁

Now tempted for ip16 plus ( previously ip16 ) due to the sceeen size, bigger screen definitely better

6.1" look bigger. almost hard to use on one hand and always press camera control for power button, Still love SE3.
Lucky did not get ip16 plus

bro instead of screen size, why not go for the 16 pro instead? I think for the money 16 pro is much more worth it. If youre getting 16 then its ok. but for 16 plus I would personally just add abit more to get the 16 pro. good deals too.

just curious, whats the best offer so far for 16 Pro ? I am the type that keeps their device as long as possible; my XR (got its battery changed last year) served me well but i want a bit more out of my device nowadays. Be it more camera performance,storage,processor and battery.

EDIT : Minus the weight of a PRO model lol, haha. XR weighted the same as a PRO model, i got hold of a S24 recently, i liked the weight (167g) , Iphone 16 = 170g

I will think about it, the price very good indeed, the cheapest rm4039 apple authorised reseller and rm4099 thunder meamwhile rm4148 machines for ip16 pro 🙂

Ip16 pro screen 6.1 inch? 🤔

If you dont mind spending the extra 1k, you can get the 16 pro instead. The 120hz refresh rate makes the experience a whole lot better. And trust me when I say once you have used a 120hz panel, there is no going back to 60. Never. Of course the battery life is better, camera is better as well. Better processor and slightly bigger screen which I think is a sweet spot. You can enjoy media consumption and at the same time enjoy the small form factor. but it the 16pro is significantly heavier than the 16 that is for sure.

If you are going to be using your device for a long time, better to get the 16 pro. I am sure by next year 60hz display will be phased out and maintained only for the 'e' series such as the current ip16e.

However budget wise, 3k is a good price for 16, and the extra 1k is a good price for a 16 pro.

ya i was planning to get 17 Pro this year when it came out but thats like 6 months from now...

and i am tired of browsing iphone subreddit / shopee iphone price. Just want to get it done with.

I suggest waiting for the new iPhone as iPhone 16 PM has a significant touch issue problem, but I have heard that the iPhone 16 Pro is less noticeable.
