Owning a kpop sedan here. Vintage 2009.
1. 1 thing about kpop rubber is they seem to last longer than jap equivalent. mine still in excellent shape and condition. I think would be a total waste to change out those door seals at this time, 15yrs old.
Did the rm1 note test on all doors + boot. All passed with no big gap. Maybe you would want to do this test 1st before deciding to splurge money to change?
At the same time, maybe ask your friendly neighbourhood foreman to lift up your car on tyre alignment bay (coz all suspension parts and wheels are in loaded position) and visual check for crack rubbers/bushes before deciding to change any?
For suspension rubber parts, my car's front rubber components started to show minor cracks on 8th year of ownership and was replaced promptly. Rear rubbers only showed cracking recently. Will be replacing these too, in near future.
2. Ditto to the 360cam and android HU.... Mine just stayed at Android HU with 180deg reverse cam. More than enough, wife said.
3. Paint condition. If factory paint is still in good condition, without much stone chips, just send it for a detailing session. Cheaper than a full respray.
If badly stone chipped and/or butt-itchy, then respray. Resprayed mine end of 2019. Result was that good, so won't be recommending that shop.
But can try this shop my friend resprayed his toyota, at TTDI KL. Quite good workmanship. Maybe can consider specify using better high solid clear coat for respraying (more expensive but depends on your bajet)
BTW you didnt specify where are you based? In case you're in KV
CKM Auto4. Lastly consider to restore or detail (if still in good condition) your plastic lens headlamps.
5. Autofoam? Don't think your car needs this kind of tweak. Have this on my wira (Side sills, A-pillars, B-pillars and rear subframe) and yes it markedly tightened up the softy chassis of early 90s vintage. On your 2017 car? I think it would be a complete waste of good money.
oh sorry. In Kota Bharu.
Door rubber seems good-suspension change half already. The other half, yet to change (waiting to hear sound). But since got good outside 3rd party kia/hyundai shop at KB, they physically jack up car and check suspension.
For 360, I think it is a must if I don't want to redo parking all the time. I usually find parking next to pillar so that I have more space to open doors.
Paint still good, luster gone. Almost 7 years- for this I think I will do it in KB.
What about your car seats? leather still good?
My rims are chrome plated-got few chips though small, still good. Car paint got some scratch lines. Interior door handle still immaculate condition (no scratch marks like most cars with the handle door opening. Maybe the big gap.
Headlamps still immaculate too. I placed tint -removed it last year. (after 6 years because tinted lamp at DRL starting to become brown). headlamp, foglamp Still looks good. Ori lighting. I seldom do night driving though.
BTW-how long do airbags last?
