Yes V3 is still worth it cos 8gen3 is still a power chip. Also the design is very same for V3 & V5. If you can find a seller selling below 4k for new set then it's worth it. The 5150mah battery on the V3 should be able to last till evening since my previous Fold 5 with 4400mah battery can lasts till 6pm if used whole day. Previously when Magic V3 was launch V2 was also deep discounts by many sellers like what is now happened to V3 after V5 is launched.

The only issues with V3 is that it doesn't have Force Dark Mode inside the developer options means apps like Shopee cannot go into dark mode. If you're okay with that V3 is buyable if you can find a seller selling below 4k.

just got the magic V3 and notice lazada and shopee apps looks weird when open from the internal screen

the product image looks so big

Both Shopee and Lazada apps have yet to be optimised for foldable book-style displays. Not sure if they will ever do it as more than 90% of users still use regular displays.

I recently updated the firmware to 9.0.0.175. Just found out that when using front facing camera, it will hang. Not able to switch to front facing camera on other apps as well, like whatapp.

When in unfolded mode, I'm able to use the internal front facing camera, if you get what I'm saying. Need some help please.

Same after restart. Send to service center few days ago to check and need to leave phone there for 2-3 weeks.
Luckily, warranty until 20 Sept so will send to service center next week while waiting for new backup phone to arrive.
