When you have a competent oppo like PH, the gov wouldn't dare to do something stupid because they're still politicians, and need to get the votes from all the people, especially from the nons. As we know, we need each other, Malay needs the nons and the nons need Malay to form a gov or else, hang parliament again.

Because we don't have that luxury like Mahathir's era we need each other to form a gov. There's no single party that could get 2/3 seats like BN back then so the PAS will go full taliban is not possible. There's no way Bersatu would agree with PAS if PAS wants to go full taliban
