I am going to migrate to unifi fiber soon. i have a few questions here.

1)Family want to retain the phone number so is possible transfer phone number to unifi fiber?

2)Old phone package can show caller id in phone, does the new unifi fiber phone have caller id too or I need to pay extra for it?

3)I know theres onu + router and also combo onu router, so I need full control access setting to both onu + router and combo router so what information should I request for incsae I need to change to a new router or combo onu router? Im not sure anyone selling onu yet?

4)This area have rats so how do I request the anti rat forgot what name cabling?

5)My old package have public ip. I really need public ip usage here so which unifi fiber package have public ip? I mean ip4 not ip6.

6)I know have swu so how I ask about it? Im 10 year plus streamyx to unifi lite user here. Any information on swu including whats given in details?

Not sure what else information I need to ask anymore. Been force to migrate soon.

based on your info i assume you are moving from streamyx to fiber

1) Yes able to use back your existing number unless you change to other ISP
2) Caller ID is inclusive already
3) Username & Password already got behind the ONU for PPoE those info you can inside the modem / router interface
4) doesn’t matter in the event if finer cable being bitten by rat. Tm can replace it
5) I think above 500 Mbps automatic is Public IP unless like Maxis then need pay additional RM 10
6) SWU offer is you try to port out to other telco then they will offer

So can confirm the RM149 500mbps package have caller id and public ip I mean ip v4?

Yes, by default 500MBPS users and above will provide a dynamic public IP, and yes both public IPv4 and IPv6

Recently notice ip 2XX sometimes dont have ipv6 ip address.
