@Dozz
I'm quite sure the plat charge has significantly more benefits than the plat cc, probably you could call cs up to compare the cards for you?
Personally, I would find out the benefits (in comparison), and if I feel I'll utilise most of em, I'll take up the offer. Not bcoz of the 100k points of course.

It's a card by invitation, and it's amex. How bad can it be? =p
Plus if you're of the financials where they invite you for the plat charge card, I'm sure an extra RM200 expense per month won't hurt.

But that's just me of course.

oh, seem like quite alot of ppl got the platinum charge card invitation. i got one too and they keep persuading me to apply for it.

can i know what is the addtional benefit to enjoy for this card by paying this sum of 2380 annual charge per yr?

anyone able to waive this amt? so far i get to waive my annual charge every yr but first time abt platinum charge card hence want to check whether anyone able to waive this fee before i confirm my application.

Dude chill, everyone has his own opinion. Don't have to start bout being crazy and all the bull.

If they were inviting me, and I would utilize the privileges, I would personally pay it myself. We're here to express opinions and give suggestions, I'm not as childish as to ignore another's monetary aspects just "because it's not my own money" wink.gif

As I said, if it's really useful, I think it's worth the price and prestige. Not everyting has to be measured in quantitative benefits. (i.e. I must save more than RM2.3k before I pay out an annual fee of RM2.3k) There're other qualitative aspects as well. Don't be such a chinaman, might I say.

Also, if 2.3k in a year is relatively immaterial to the person, what's the big fuss?

Anyways, additional benefits I suppose, are mainly, as below:
Which is relatively useful if one is a real frequent travel. (say, for business purposes)
