Added on January 18, 2008, 2:11 amrumours saying tat maybank is trying to work out to bring the ultimate amex card- centurion card to malaysia. if maybank can bring in centurion card to malaysia, the annual fee would roughly be RM8K-10K. in SG its already $SGD5K.

bro =) if this is ur first usage on the card for RM120K , chances are your transaction might get refered.although no preset spending limit but charges are approved based on your spending pattern. best call maybank prior to your large purchase

1. Yes. basically if you dont wish to transfer points to partner frequent flyer, just opt for the non frequent traveler option.
2. Yes. No enrollment= no points =) its only rm25 p/a and points are evergreen
3. Due to the outweight benefits , all AMEX platinum cards are fee paying cards regardless of credit or charge =)

hehe...not impossible ma...so many rich ppl around nowadays..can easily swipe for honda/toyata/bmw cars le..maybe mr cloud did it before on his amex plat charge. anyway got Line of Credit ma...

What makes AMEX special are the wide arrange of benefits & recognition whenever you go,attractive rewards and a world class service to all card holders
Would your card provider call you up to ask if you are okay or in need of assistance in the event of natural disaster struck the country that you're visiting?
Would your other card provider go to the extend of charting a helicopter/flight to rescue/transport card holders that was stranded in a foreign country due to political turmoil/nautral disaster?

Well AMEX does ..how i know? i did the calls ocassionally lol

MR pts different from Maybank TP. MR pts has no expiry. TP system are for all Maybank cards.


The latest AMEX Gold CC is running on MR rewards. However for existing charge card member that has MR program, the existing MR pts you have wouldnt be merged with AMEX Gold CC.
Reason is AMEX Gold CC rewards is running on Maybank TP system but the redemption is still under the AMEX MR Rewards list. (Not sure if this apply for AMEX Plat CC )
Another thing is, to earn 5X pts on AUTObilling, the enrollment must be done through Maybank and not your telco service provider.

aside from points any other renewal offer? a brand new watch perhaps? amex singapore is having Aigner watch for 2nd year renewal offer.
