QUOTE(Justmua @ Nov 22 2007, 02:13 PM) Me too. Got to get the most out of the CC. With today's spiralling costs of living, every cent counts. I either use AMEX + Smiles OR UOB One card. I rang up Allianz and eTiQa, both of them do not accept AMEX. haiz.... seem like non of any motor insurance company accept AMEX now.I think most insurance company don't accept AMEX simply because the transaction costis higher and I heard also bad paymaster. You are lucky to be able to pay your customers' insurance using your cards. I know Allianz now does not allow their agent to use their own cards for customers' payment. Added on November 22, 2007, 3:24 pm QUOTE(mrcloud9 @ Nov 22 2007, 12:49 PM) my dad keeps denying he has a black card. but whenever i go to his office i can see the black card's magazines etc. i saw the black card book of benefits too. i know many years ago he has amex card issued from united kingdom too. most likely it's from there. haha.. is that mean you never see your dad's black card b4? why he keeps denying got the card? ahgahah..This post has been edited by Dozz: Nov 22 2007, 03:24 PM |

Haha... my father used to said the same thing to me when i was a child and wanted to have sup card from him...."you want a card, you have to study hard and earn it yourself to get it" lol... every father is the same er..
Frankly speaking, for us Malaysian, no matter how much we spend or earn the most we can get from AMEX is platinum..they simply dont have black card here.. unless you able to setup an Amex account in Singapore.. that maybe got a chance to get invited if you really a HUDE spender! lol... mrcloud9, i believe you have used your AMEX card in london before right? hows the conversion charges like when you receive the statement? worth to use the card in oversea? |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Nov 29 2007, 03:43 AM) yah, but too bad this offer of 2X ends Jan 2008. Got to do all my CNY shopping before this program ends, haha. IF you got enrolled in the Turbo Program, you still get 2x points after Jan 2008 but am not so sure when this promotion gonna to expire... but yeah... i do hope AMEX will extend this 2x points promotion if not maybe come out something similar to this.. However if i not mistaken, the truly 0% interest free 3 months installements have been extended another 3 months right? Lets hope AMEX/MBB extend the 2X rewards program too. |

QUOTE(Kuyoki @ Dec 5 2007, 03:00 PM) Yes, AMEX is not as popular as VISA and Mastercard in Malaysia... but i guess AMEX is currently doing a lot of promotion for their cards as we can always see the ads from newspaper... hope it will be widely accepted soon... |
