I believe this router is quite popular for those purchasing separate 5G broadband plan

The 5G connection with this router been bad recently as it keep drop to 4G band all the time, not sure it is due to telco problem or what (YES/UMOBILE) ~ Ampang/Cheras area

The router have auto switch connection setting (NR5G-NSA/4G (Auto Switch)) which cannot be changed even you do 5G lock ban (N28/N78) because still have to choose one LTE band (B28). The other setting NR5G-SA is not available in Malaysia

So what other recommendation setting you guys have ? Also do any of you install TS9 antenna to boost the signal reception ?

I think other model like ZTE MC888S, Kaon FA7801, Infinite Gateway also the same unable to lock 5G band. At least Zyxel NR5103E dont have the WIFI heating problem.
