Anyone here rely on robot vacuums to do your daily maintenance like sweeping, vacuuming or mopping?

I had 3 units of Smartmi Vortexwave for about a year before all of them went kaput and sent back for warranty claim. Now I'm using one Dreame L10 Ultra and one L10s Ultra. Planning to buy a third when warranty claim refunded.

Dreame seems to be a good brand, although not cheap but i suppose will pay off in the long run?

Roborock S8 Ultra Pro.

Their new duo roller brush don't have tangled hair all over the brush instead it's just tangled on the side and can be easily removed compare to my old Roborock S5.

Mopping it's definitely better due to the vibration and then the self wash mop after x minutes of mopping

dreame robot actually has some interesting features like the self cleaning after mopping floor

but it costs a bomb starting from 2k and reliability is questionable

Viomi V2 Max for simple vacumm & mop with mapping system, if you are not that fuzzy, below RM500.
If u wan 99.9% clean, corners, change water, then forget abt it

Yes, one unit got back full price. Another 2 got the cost price. Seller decide to take their cut but I guess ok la since already used for almost a year. All bought online.
Reason for refund instead of repair was that the product was declared end of life and no more in production so no repair can be done at service center.

Dreame's repair price seems reasonable. Heard the battery will cost about RM300 to replace.

Current looking for vacuum with following features:-
1. Strong suction. (>10,000PA)
2. LDS navigation
3. Anti tangle.
4. Mostly for hard floor. (no carpet)
5. Able to clean rooms in specific sequence. For example I want to clean Room A then Room B.

Currently some shortlist:

Dreame D20 Ultra
Roborock QR798
Xiaomi X20+ (suction is bit low)

Any other models that you can recommend?

As a user of x20+, i can tell u the brush will still have tangled hair. But i bought aftermarket brush that can cut hair to solve it 😆

But i feel the cleaning function is not as good after using it for nearly a year, some parts not as clean, but still better than nothing

I decided to choose X10+ over X20+ or Pro this is due to few
1. Hot air drying from station (X20+ dont have)
2. Water tank at robot (X20+/Pro dont have) so they return to station to wet the mop and I notice the mopping lest effective
3. they downgrade the front laser object navigation (X20+/pro uses single laser) X10+ uses dual laser navigation
4. The water tank in X20+/pro is larger (double) but I dont feel any problem with X10+ just after complete vac+mop throw dirty water and refill only...
5. X10+ can detect carpet and lift mop auto... X20+ need to set in app cause no carpet sensor X20 pro got...

Problem when no hot air dry the mop become smelly... so far x10+ no issue of smelly mop but 1 a week need to remove and send to washing..

What I like
1. Full control of app can select sequence of room and each room can set desired mopping (1x or 2x) vacuum level (low, mid, high, turbo)..
2. No need to worry set daily task and it auto mop... if 1 room door close it will skip and maybe later will revisit the room if door is open...
3. avoid all the item in floor, socks, wire all can detect and avoid
4. rotate mop very good, auto clean and hot air dry
5. auto empty dustbin...

What dont like.
1. STation base still need to maintain and clean the mop pad area...
2. No hair cutting need to upgrade dreame anti hair brush
3. no detergent to put into mop so need to pour into tank...sometime smelly cause detergent not fresh anymore
4. once a month put bleach mix water into clean tank and let the washing machine clean internal parts else I notice will become smelly due to hose bacteria...
5. if dirty water left at tank +1 day become smelly so buy AG+ box put there prevent smell or put clorox...
