hye, still survey either Nikon D40X or Canon EOS 400D??? I read abt a post here.. is it true than D40 is wayyyy better than D40X?? i mean D40x is 10.2 mgpxl.. and the price u pay is more expensive than D40.. hehe.. kinda noob here.. tongue.gif

if you want d40x, better get yourself a d60 as it has sensor cleaner,kit-lens is a VR, and some new feature over d40x

Nikkor 50mm f/1.8d is RM360, 50mm f/1.4d is RM950 at J-One

f1.4 is really tempting

i think pic quality really depends on your skills smile.gif

Macro adapter ring, I don't you'll lose autofocus, but with reverse ring technique, you'll stuck at manual focus.

don't know about quality though, hard to find direct comparison

I just got the D80 18-135 kit lense, work well with my trusty d40, and most importantly super fast!

it's noticeably faster than d40 kit lens. I cancelled getting 55-200 VR and got this baby at Rm720.

go and try it
