Do u guys know any prime lens that is less than rm400? +AF
wanna use it for portrait shots. Tried my frens 50mm f/1.8, the colors were really sharp. Also wanna ask, smaller f-value (big aperture) can get more DOF? |

QUOTE(undazztood @ Jan 19 2008, 10:56 PM) QUOTE(timothyy @ Jan 19 2008, 11:31 PM) For me... I think the white balance is a bit yellow already. Thanks alot. will buck up.. Focus not sharp on the subject I think because of the lens, the bokeh not there. So, your flower did not stand out. My 2 rupiah comment. I am not a photographer anyway. |

QUOTE(undazztood @ Jan 20 2008, 12:17 AM) your picture seem needto do some pp. try adjust level abit and unsharp mask. take photo like this u need to use higher f numbers (f8) and use tripod. u r using 18-55mm rite? nice bokeh @ 55mm btw ![]() I did some adjustments on the levels and also unsharp mask tool. How is it? Increase f numbers will have sharper image? As I know, higher f means bokeh less. But I want to have more bokeh. Wht's the solution? yeap, im using kit lens. I'm aiming for prime lens sigma 30mm f/1.4 QUOTE(xandman @ Jan 20 2008, 12:28 AM) bro... try taking flowers of diff color... red also pose a problem...try purple or light blue... then ur pics will be much nicer... i myself am having problems sometimes to get a good shot of red flower... this has to do with the sensor...i read it somewhere... QUOTE(orenzai @ Jan 20 2008, 02:04 AM) one thing my sifus told me...try to avoid shooting red color as cam sensors are least sensitive towards red..i shot one bunga raya striking red...when it came out the petals didnt have much details and just looked like a red patch... yea, because i took this in my porch and unfortunately my porch has red flowers only. I'll go out and shoot other flowers with different color next time |
