Hi, referring to the pictures, there is a sinkhole behind my house.
Need advice if there is any expert here, what caused the sinkhole?
What should I do?
Who can I engage to repair the sinkhole urgently?

I sold the house ... :-)

It either the developer poorly constructed the area / not properly compacted the soil or there is a soil movement underground water causes the cavity.

Your house new or old ? Still can ask the developer to rectify if within can’t remember think within 6 years or so … falls under latent defect …structure defect you can’t see after DLP period ended…

If not can try ask your majlis /council and make a report if you think that area is within the council jurisdiction.

Outside your fence is under the developer or Majlis.

It is an old house more than 20 years.

Try call this and you may need to call several times 😊 to get them to pick up your calls it’s like you entering a radio station call in contest …never want to pick up one ….

Check the local council website and lodge complain online there.
More effective than calling them i would day.
