 Drilling into Solid Surface

Hi all, I’m planning a DIY change of our kitchen faucet, however this will be the first time I’m drilling into a solid surface counter top.

What is the ideal drill bit for the faucet hole drilling?
Will a standard stainless steel holesaw be sufficient to drill through solid surface?

Solid surface is so generic name. What is the material. IS it like Corian or basically acrylic surface? Yes, standard holesaw is sufficient. Doesn't have to be stainless steel.

This is something I used before
