CPU tu tak sampai 100w , GPU tu sama juga tak sampai 220w , kalau tak silap 3070 pun bahawa rated 250w juga, motherboard pun bahawa rated 100w , semua rojak sekali peak pun 400w jer , hdd, sdd, kipas etc pakai sikit usage sahaja max 100w pun masih ada 150w headroom for wear and tear efficiency degraded situation in future

Kalau pakai 3070 ok je, 4070 memang boleh tu.





Jangan takut, PSU 600W yang bagus pun jadi.

650W is at the limit I would use for up to 3070. Going to 4070 is actually better as it has a lower TGP than 3070.

PSU better get 750 80plus gold.

Bottleneck could be the RTX4070. Usually gamers would pair the 7800x3D with higher end graphic.
If want to use RTX4070, even mid level Ryzen is enough for gaming.

My FSP bronze 650W PSU nearly 2 years and still going on ...

Actually i upgraded part by part... Last time using Intel 8700 sell those muzium intel proc+cooler-mobo+ram+and dinasor gtx 1080ti... My item left is 2nvme ssd+1 hdd n psu Silverstone d650w 80plus gold with atx casing... From old setup... Just change the gpu to 3070 and proc 7800x3d ram n mobo... So should stick with 3070 or get 4070 then how about psu is this enough?

So can i get the 4070 without any scary feeling about need change psu?

3070 cukup

7800x3d n 4070 = 120W + 200W TDP
Mine 12700 (unleashed) + 3060TI = 180W + 200W TDP

So far no issue whatsoever, but mine is behind a UPS and Belkin surge protector so maybe it helps prolong

4070 = 200W TGP
3070 = 220W TGP and it also has 3000series infamous power spikes

You say leh? Its up to you Like if your not confident then just get a 850W GOLD PSU for peace of mind and future upgrade path. For your games you play above, both GPU will be fine actually.

What do you mean good like old days? Any modern CPU is better than previous. Its just the margins might be significantly more or less depending on generation jump.

UPS & surge protector helps to smoothen electric power from the wall socket which can help to lessen strain on the PSU as there is less spikes & valleys from the input current.

I would say a good surge protector will help like 30% but UPS will like 70% to help protect your PC. If you want which is better get a UPS.

If your rumah never once kena petir and hancur barang dlm rumah electronic saya rasa tak perlu risau, voltage regulator pun juga perlu tukar setiap 5 tahun kalau tak silap sebab dalam ada satu material/alat yg buat kerja tu akan lost effective over time

Surge protector pun tak sangat mahal up to you want or not, i punya PC duax2 pun tak ada , lepas 8-10 tahun tukar PC jer tak perlu risau pun 😂

Im using KOSS brand now, no fan. Previously using AVF which has a fan and very annoying when I not using audio.

Im not familiar Targus or Tessan.

Downside to UPS is you need to replace the battery every few years, about RM50 a pair depends on size. It will still be the cheapest thing you need to replace on your PC if things go south.

And when that happens it really depends on your location, if never have lighting surge or power cut, then its not needed but for those rare occasions it helps to save your PC and data. However these just for supporting your PSU, if its too old or too limited its time to go will be sooner.

I think its a bit out of topic. If you wanna up GPU to 4070 its not necessary to change your PSU. But regardless whether you keep use the 3070 or next 4070, getting a UPS is a good idea to prevent your PC life from dying due to power related issues.
