It's the mentality of the rider/driver.

But I agree in some sense that bike riders are more prone to higher risk taking (we ride bikes after all), impatience (which is also why we ride bikes) and a sometimes unfounded or misplaced sense of confidence (you need that to be on a bike)... Otherwise you would be driving.

I mostly daily on a bike after getting fed up with driving. But as a more mature rider we do see things in a much clearer perspective and perhaps self preservation than younger riders.

As to us being motobodo. Yes, sometimes we do, even to the best of us. And I agree as I see all sorts of preventable accidents almost weekly by other riders of smaller bikes.
