Hi all.

Currently my circumstances have somewhat changed and no longer needs to travel long distances .

I plan to downgrade my ride since my daily commute now is just 50km daily or mostly shared rides.

Weekend is a mixed bag , we rarely travel outside KV now

Currently have a city but felt that it is too much for our needs currently .

Would like to think is it wise to downgrade to the below: (budget 50k)

1. Axia X
2. Bezza X
3. Saga / Iriz 1.3
4. Any decent used car within this budget?

Currently i can afford the city (<20% salary), but i felt that the money should be saved for rainy days instead.

Any recommendations is welcome.

I’d keep the city if it’s in good condition and the cost of ownership is not a burden.

Saga should be ok. Everything olskol head lamp also halogen brake lamp everything still bulb cheap maintenance. Gerbox alteady use aisin,should be quite reliable

keep the city the repayment is not too much of the difference. no need to suffer the depreciation

H.City is not a big car to start with, it's just a 1.5L "city" car TBH

But you did not mention how old is the City, as it can be quite old if it's a 1-3rd gen car. If you really want a small car, I reckon Axia X should do coz it based of new platform.

Get the Axia SE instead of the X. Extra RM4k only.

Since you already have the CITY, keep it. It is the more practical city car compared to those you listed.
The 3 cars listed will start rattling after 1.5 years. The seats are not as comfortable (axia I know).

I'd keep the CITY for 15 years if possible, owning the CITY for a longer period would pay off over changing to a smaller car now....

Also, your situation may change again after 10 years where u will need a B segment sedan again...

kept the city easy. It's a good car with good FC, quite reliable too.

Axia SE gains what over Axia X ?

Isn't that the city you just bought like half year ago? Don't think it's appropriate to sell off now considering the depreciating value is not high. Maybe you can drive like 1 year - 2 years before plan to sell it off.

If you want best of value on FC, Bezza is the good choice.
