Hi guys, I have my dcmoto gfm925w swing gate installed last year together with a homekit circuit board.

Recently, my autogate circuit board not working and I opened it up to check. To my surprise the inner box was full with water causes some metals pin to corroded as well as homekit circuit board to fried.

I wonder how to solve the problem? Can I use any third party autogate cover box or I must buy the original dc moto box that cost around 150 per unit?

*sorry for videos shake, was suprised to see the moisture, water and ants*

Thanks for helping GlimmeringGoddess!

Not sure, maybe due to they cut the hole behind the box?

But they did put a layer of silicone on top of the autogate box though.

Bao the whole thing like a mummy using cling wrap. Rain and wind can find its way in easily.

Thanks for your reply, sifu ceo!

Is this a serious advise ya? Meaning I just wrap everything like mummy using cling wrap? Since I won't be open up the box as well.
