Based on MBSJ's explanation, if the rate increase is approved, the price hike will occur in two stages. For instance, if the current rate is RM494.40 and the new rate is set at RM618.00, they will not charge the full RM618.00 in 2025. Instead, only half of the increase, which is RM61.80, will be applied in 2025, with the full new rate being charged in 2026.
Mine increased from RM342.00 (the old rate) to RM512.40, which is nearly a 49% price hike
TBH I have no problem paying that, since they did excellent work around my area ( putra heights and usj )
every time I lodge a complaint they try to settle it as soon as possible
