Hi All,

Any encounter that when selling property in Selangor which lesser than 100 meter square, it would required additional consent?

While applying consent from land office (Lembaga Tahan), the application of consent is oh hold and advised that for property lesser than 100 meter square, it would require additional consent from Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor?

I was told by lawyer currently, houses lesser than 100 meter square would be categorized as Low Cost House. But the house originally is not low cost house, just that the size is small. This seems to be unfair.

Leasehold property all need to seek consent, it's normal.

99% of the time, consent granted.

Ya...i understand that consent is needed from land office. But now is before getting consent from Land Office, additional consent is required from Lembaga Perumahan for house lesser than 100 meter square. And it is unfair as this is not low cost house

low cost terrace house? possible..
but don't think it's applicable for low cost flats as most of them are below 100 m2 anyways..
