car definitely at majority fault.
but moto being moto, will always pay wit life regardless whose fault.

that's y defensive riding/driving mentality is required.
in a smooth flowing traffic, moto should not ride faster than car either on the shoulder or lane splitting.
if u ride faster than car flow, u should occupy car lane as u're fast enough, not blocking any1.

driving on the other hand, always pay extra attention to blind spot.
when i wanna turn or switch into that direction, u should plan your move way ahead by looking at the rear view & side mirror & momentarily memorize how many vehicles behind u & work out the gap availabilities.

malaysia's car no side mirror 1, u see all those cars always turn without checking or some park at roadside then bukak their door wide wide without checking

yes.
sometimes when i lane split in traffic jam also i scare.
hands always cover the brake just in case.

drivers are taught to check mirror, signal, if clear, change lane/turn.
while it's not wrong, it's also not sufficient.
driver should plan ahead way b4 the turn, cuz som motobodo likes to speed match at cars blindspot.
countless time i hav giv signal early, to tell the motobodo to either quickly overtake me, or slit to my bck/right instead.
i cant see the motobodo in my side mirror (cuz blind spot), but i know they are there cuz prior to that, i checked my rear view mirror they are there, but now it's no longer there, &, they haven't pass me.
