Synopsis: As corruption becomes rampant in the country, a group of vloggers urges freedom fighter-turned-vigilante Senapathy to return to finish his mission.
Disclaimer: A sequel of the 1996 movie, Indian. For further watch, the movie is in Netflix and Youtube for free.
Pro:
- Anirudh's BGM is the saviour of the movie. He made this movie atleast watchable with his score.
- Some parts of cinematography.
- Artwork somewhat good
- Indian 3 trailer
Cons:
- The makers made Indian Thatha (Grandfather) is superhuman who can kill people with his 'Varmam' martial art opposed to the first one where he only used to paralyzed his enemies.
- Nonsensical Varnams. For example: WTF is that 'Feminine Varmam'? And how that can generate Lipstick and Mascara in a man face.
- Every good actors being wasted including Kamal himself.
- Trashy dialogues and one liners that does make any sense. (Try to read those in English subtitle and you will laugh.
- The AI recreations of dead actors (Vivek and Nedumudi Venu turned out horribly bad)
- Most Haphazard editing I have ever seen in a movie. Too draggy. For example: Thatha starts killing a guy with a varmam and the straightly goes to the arrest of Barking Dogs family members because corruption and jumps to thatha who explains to the villain on what varmam he will use to kill that villain.
- One dimension characters without any depth.
- Anirudh songs.
- Bad climax
- Killed the Prequel and the legacy of first movie by making the Sanapathy Thatha as a joke.
- Cringeworthy action scenes (Is this a Shankar movie? Why those stunts are so bad)
Verdict: Zero Tolerance for awful sequels. This crap movie made me depressed badly. Worst sequel ever.
Available in Netflix if you are not a weak hearted person.
