I am looking for a laptop for electrical engineering students, budget <3k.

I'm ain't student but depends the software you use more on CPU bound or GPU bound or memory bound and nvme storage do reduce the read/write time .

Electrical engineering don't use much computing power. Simple machine will do.

I feel safer for engineering to get something with a GPU. For some reason if you happen to take AI subject, CAD design or just want to explore stuff, at least having a GPU would be nice.

I recently bought my younger bro a Victus 16 for 3.5k. I believe there's a model sub 3k with an RTX2050/3050/4050 (not great, but it's something).
