I noticed there are other whatsapp group not under the name Pantheon, but other names.

There's this whatsapp group, teacher, assistant, spin the wheel, IPO, randomly added to individual groups of newbies. Same case going to happen?

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are investigating a large-scale investment scam masquerading as private equity firm Pantheon Ventures, which has led to total reported losses of RM41 million since last month.

Bukit Aman commercial crime investigation department director Ramli Yoosuf said 97 police reports have been lodged so far, with some victims losing millions.

“Investigations have revealed that the minimum amount required to participate in this scheme is RM50,000 and this has resulted in substantial losses for victims.

The highest individual loss recorded was RM5.75 million, he said in a press conference today.

Ramli said one of the victims – a 63-year-old company director – filed a report on Aug 15 after being cheated of RM5.75 million.

“He had come across the investment opportunity on Facebook in May and was later added to a WhatsApp group linked to ‘Pantheon Ventures’.

He made 26 separate payments to different companies, totalling RM5.75 million. However, he has yet to receive any promised returns, he said.

The case is being investigated under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating.

I am stil inside the so called whatsapp investment group. the student respond are real and keep on thanking the teacher for his accurate prediction. but i doubt these all are real student at all.

and yes, one of two member did private message me about their fear or doubt. saying they are doubtful of this group, yada yada yada.. just to fish me out when i didnt responded much to their messages.

5.75 mil. Damn. I've retired long time ago with that money. Guess he wanna hit billionaire status fast.

These people who do business, so many years of doing business, but can't smell a scam?

I have joined this last month. Exited with some profit of 30% within a month, stopped trading with them as I’m afraid I will lose em all if they wants to pull off the scam when their pocket is full
