The manga dragged so much, some people lost interest since the beginning of the final arc.

Added with the 'meh' ending, people will forget this manga ever exist soon.

The anime however are still popular, for some reason.

so i kept seeing comments of how deku went from loser to strongest hero back to loser.

not even a "normal" ending
its just.. too many unanswered question and nothing is resolved

this is why people say the vigilantes spinoff is a better MHA.. at least there the guy gets the girl in the end

shigaraki should transfer a quirk to midoriya, but it didnt happen.

i think the author did it quite well, considering how many other mangakas are even more vague in their endings. he even had several more chapters post final battle to explain things etc. granted we wish to see more of "8yrs later" mode where everyone is grown up into respectable heroes. like fukken hell, would it hurt to show interactions between older Deku, Kacchan and Shoto?

That was such a lame ending, a very "super neutral" route like time stopped for everyone only they a bit taller and some guys got some lil' moustache
So even after 8 years nobody hooks up with anybody and they all just "friends forever" huh..

the final arc really dragged on for too long..
I'm just glad it didn't get cancelled and rushed to end even tho the ending was weak.

They build up the MC, a normal person, blessed with big powers and then back to square one?
