First group of China immigrants actually come in between 13th and 17th centuries, Early 19 to 20th centuries are second batches.

The Chinese and Indian are majority but also Javanese, Bugis, Acheh, Siam, etc also flocking in to malaya same period, immigration not tight to none back then… most of Javanese, Bugis and Acheh granted bumi status due to cultural similarities and till today their descendants dont even know their ancestors were once immigrants (or reject the fact) … except minorities like Zahid Hamidi knows his root well.

Unlike what happening in Europe where the immigrants are uprising against the government, our racial riot was dominant race violence against minorities fanned by politicians fighting for power in the government, both are all Msian citizens, non are immigrants.
