So far, to report on network signal coverage, I am on U Mobile 5G, previously when on 1+ Nord, got 5G signal in office area, but now on P9 signal dropped to 4G only. But at least it is stable enuff to browse so no biggie ... Last time on Nord, got 5G most of the time but feels like there is no data flowing in when using the phone for usual tasks. I think U Mobile coverage is becoming shittier by the day.

Just wondering if anyone is having any issues with the phone overheating?

Especially when using Waze / Google Maps / Android Auto while driving or just taking videos / photos on a hot day

for those who purchase the pixel 9, how is the battery life ?

not sure how will be my digi's 5g on my phone, as my office/prime commercial area's coverage is horrible, and i have no choice but to use umobile, so far umobile 5g is stable, as 5g digi is not reachable. Since it appear to be auto detection/switch to digi when umobile is not good. When i use the Digi physical sim, it's not good, as usual, now i am using e-sim, so digi answer is expected, as 2 years since i am in new office, digi just say to be in planning. i pay full each month, but i cant use, as 5g become GG, or no signal, if 4g/4g+ become worse and call drop.

I give it few days see how is it.

If it is still bad, I will keep it as spare for photography only.

I have a requirement that i need to extract all xpath from an XML data so I I have prepared a sample xml file (rename the extension to TXT, as XML extension is not supported currently), and I have an Excel while which contain field mappings.
What Gemini Advanced is capable of is that I upload both the excel file and the txt containing the XML data into Gemini and issued this command to "extract all xpath from the XML data, and look it up against the excel column XX in sheet XXXXX, and show me which of the xpath did not match those in the excel xpaths"

Voila , Gemini Advance is able to do this! of course there is some flaw at first, but I try to correct it to direct it to the correct column and and it to regenerate the answer as I did cross check some inaccuracies. However I believe the AI is self learning and will only be better through this.

This is just 1 example how Gemini Advance can help in my work to perform tedious work and complete it within a min, I believe more use case , depending on your creativity on using it.

Yeah.. phone 2 camera is horrible, especially if zoom right. Everything else with that phone is just nice! It's the camera that's annoying, and for being flagship, it should provide a good camera. I think the hardware is there, but they couldn't optimize the software.

So which one you gonna use? P9? Or back to Phone 2?

My sincere Review of Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.

I am never any fans boy. I based on experience.
I am shock on why people love on Pixel, maybe last time it was cheap, then I accept.
Maybe it is because of vanilla UI, maybe of Camera. But... seriously the performance and battery life... hmm...
Now it is selling premium price but not that level.

Following experience with full speed (no battery saver) and full resolution (sorry I don't use the resolution in half which is default setting).

• Look - 1st time I feel Pixel look very premium and pretty - that one of the reason I am so want to have it.
  
• Camera - Outstanding, the best camera I ever use. Seriously awesome! Can I said the only good of Pixel is camera. 😅
  
• Screen - It is very nice no doubt.
  
• Loud Speaker - Very good and nice output with bass.
  
• Interface - I do love the vanilla UI, it is very nice well done.
  
• Reception - it was ok to me and similar performance as my another phone in 5G and 4G performance.
  
• Performance in daily usage - at beginning very laggy, after sometimes now it is smooth but still sometimes without any reason it will have scrolling smoothness issue. Open apps speed is ok but not wow instant like any flagship in the market. Common usage also cannot 100% butterly smooth is seriously not good in year 2024 on a RM 6.8K phone! I totally cannnot accept even very rare got not smooth stuttering scrolling issue. Now is year 2024 not 2004.
  
• Performance in games - come on! even Lazada Havest games also cannot run smoothly! This is truly shock! even my 2 years ago Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also can run smoothly, don't said my butterly smooth of iPhone 15 Pro Max. This is a very basic games and it cannot run smoothly, you can seen slighly jerking on the game animation and this is not a 3D games.
  
• Phone update - OMG! OMG! OMG! How slow it can be, it even stop and appear message due to I am using the phone, ok now I let the phone idle with update page on top open, after more than 1 hour, now just appear ask for restart. OMG! Am I using a < RM 1k phone?
  
• Gemini Advanced - too many blocking, even ask for draw cartoon human also said cannot draw human... faint... and the recognizing is so poor, a tattoo guy can recognize as a lady? What? and can recognize something not there, for example I show screenshot before it recognize that tattoo guy playing guitar? OMG! they is no guitar there and no such tattoo image also. I think the AI is hallucination!
  
• Battery Life - slighly better now but still very bad. I feel like I am using Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 which had tiny battery, but this phone battery is big! I doubt it is 5060mAh.
  

In short summary - Google Pixel 9 Pro XL to me is only good at stunning camera.
It not worth the price of RM 6.8k as it can't even meet my very basic expectation for a flagship phone should have.

Sorry if my short review make you unhappy or whatever, I am talk on my experiece and what should have by now.

Reached UR since weekend only by Monday they will escalate this issue to switch HQ and Google.
Heart broken I'm not interested to replacing this device as 1 to 1 exchange planning to request to refund full amount.

does your 5G switch back to 4G sometimes? or consistently on 5G? DigiCelcom user here, cyberjaya 5G & 4G signal is strong but yet it switch back to 4G , sometimes back again to 5G. Haih... not sure if this is normal. I am wondering if Adaptive Connectivity turned on has anything to do with this 4G and 5G network switching
