I need to do a long distance trip from Penang to Johor soon with a 8 year old Bezza. This trip was unexpected so the problem is I have already renew car insurance few month back and I only took the basic plan with free 200 km towing and I dont think can add on already.. Just WTA advice from frequent long distance drivers here is it better to have unlimited towing for this???

If ur car brokedown at highway u can get free towing to toll. That should bring ur car nearer.

U can also topup ur policy for unlimited mileage/times towing. Do check with ur insurer.

I kena before this 200 km thing, had to pay mileage which was reasonable but they charge additional 25 ringgit fee to come in island which us bit sohai la if take unlimited towing add below 200 bucks worth it but see mileage and frequency cap.

breakdown on highway, a 200km toll can take you to KL easily.
then again if you worried you can easily add unlimited toll by calling insurance company.

Bezza can basically repair anywhere. So just tow to the nearest workshop can settle already, why worry too much.

This. If I recall correctly, PLUS Highway does offer the service to tow your broken down car to the nearest toll station. It's actually a very good service.

Bezza where got break down 1? Worst case, just topup the mileage fee when it happens, since it’s so unlikely to happen anyway

suppose to be rm1++ per km after the free 200 km right? Total how much you got charged?

lol scared these tow truck company might add on all sort of extra fees?

25+ another 250 is bucks based on mileage forgot exact amount
