Can buy, provided you can afford to maintain it. The shocks will need changing and will cost more than the car's value even if you opt for rebuilt ones or OEM ones. Make sure you know a Merc specialist in your area.

bring your trusted mechanic for inspection.
before you take the car also go for another inspection cos it's a common trick that the dealer will swap the brake pafs, tyres and suspension system after being inspected but before delivery of the vehicle
