QUOTE(JohnL77 @ Jul 28 2024, 02:42 PM) I don't like multivitamins with super high levels if Vitamin B2 and B12. Turns my pee fluorescent yellow. The fluorescent yellow urine is all the excess excreted out. Unless you have a nutritional deficiency or dietary restrictions, most people on healthy, balanced diets do not need to take any additional supplements. Supplement companies be making fat stacks of cash selling people the fear that they need multivitamins.

QUOTE(JohnL77 @ Jul 28 2024, 02:51 PM) Oh no... RM150+ per year for multivitamins. I'm never going to financially recover from this... Meanwhile, 1/5 Malaysian kids suffer from stunted growth due to poor diet. How nutritionally balanced is a Malaysian diet? https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se-asia/3...-unhealthy-dietIf you want to continue buying supplemets, that's up to you. Your money, your choice. Ayam never said the average Malaysian diet was healthy to begin with. Those from lower income groups are unable to afford a wider spread of nutritious foods so they end up buying cheaper, unhealthier foods which are high in carbohydrates because that's all they can afford; hence, the stunted growth from malnutrition.
