You go iherb see, even cheaper. Those things are actually not that expensive to make. Even brands like swisse also quite cheap in Australia, just come here markup a lot.
*
Oh is it? That's why I curious is it because of marketing cost and markup that's why blackmore and swisse is selling like 2 to 3x more expensive...

I see 21st century vitamin c is like 30 bucks for 120 biji but the rest are selling like 100+

But if 21st century is no good then couldn't possible exist so long hmm..

Compare lo. Online can compare. Chemist warehouse Australia is their cheapest pharmacy, you can see Swisse there how much per bottle. But confirm iherb is the cheapest. Can buy there.

Oh no... RM150+ per year for multivitamins. I'm never going to financially recover from this...

Meanwhile, 1/5 Malaysian kids suffer from stunted growth due to poor diet. How nutritionally balanced is a Malaysian diet?

Those kids parents have big families but cannot give quality care.
Tell you what, even if you add those multi vits that you take to these kids' diet, they will still be stunted.
You can't replace healthy diet and natural foods with synthetic vitamins

If you want to continue buying supplemets, that's up to you. Your money, your choice.

Ayam never said the average Malaysian diet was healthy to begin with. Those from lower income groups are unable to afford a wider spread of nutritious foods so they end up buying cheaper, unhealthier foods which are high in carbohydrates because that's all they can afford; hence, the stunted growth from malnutrition.

Boss, any solution for B5 like us? What boss say is true. We eat carbo cause it's cheap. Ayam take bihun goreng with egg overloaded full plate rm 3 Saja and skip lunch.

They take their raw materials also from China and then repackaged under Western brand names. After all, China makes most of the drugs in the world. Deswai cheap.

Fish oil can get cheaper in Malaysian pharmacy. Brands like Watsons or Bio-Life. Turmeric.. you can just buy from grocery store and add it into your food, right?

Well you got to see whats inside. Sometimes the milligram is less. Sometimes it uses different ingredients. Where the product is made from also dictates the price.

Next time you want to know, is by taking the picture of both the ingredients on the packaging and then compare it. Then you will know why it is cheaper.

Cannot be la. A wise forum member said, things like this don't happen in China because it's illegal.

Like other ktard said, they being around for decades. I remember back in school guardian was already selling them.

But you are not the only 1, even my mother & aunt also wary cause the price is cheaper.

To be fair, unless you have a very serious vitamin deficiency & need exact dosage every day. There's no harm in trying 21st century or house brand to save money. Read the labels content to see if the vitamin content is sufficient.
