My house all Eletrical on to max Test incoming Power only around 10A . Means i can change to 2Pole 32A MCB? Developer give now all 63A (1 x 2Pole MCB , 1x 100mA and 30mA) All 63A macam too much .
and after the 2 Pole 63A incoming MCB , the outgoing Cable is using 10mm not 16mm This post has been edited by 13aby: Jul 25 2024, 07:06 PM |

QUOTE(Momo33 @ Jul 26 2024, 01:14 AM) use MCB 20 A for AC, WH , 4 mm cable Using 63A incoming 2 Pole MCB and others 2 Main RCCB 63A also no problem? both is 100mA and 30mA now . Cable to 100mA and 30mA Developer give 10mm but the incoming TNB is 16mm . for the cable size min is 16mm for 63AMCB 6A for lightning. 1.5mm MCB 16 A for 3 pin socket . 2.5mm for RCCB 63A , 100mA for mains ,25mm cable RCCB 63A , 30mA for the 3 pin sockets , 2.5mm cable RCCB 63A , 10mA for WH , 4mm post a pix of your DB box better to advise you. QUOTE(ceo684 @ Aug 12 2024, 02:01 AM) It’s already sized correctly. Don’t waste money I plan to change all to Hager , so i follow back all same 63a for the RCCB and 2 Pole MCB for incoming ya . What I would suggest is to redo the pigtails as there is a minimum bend radius (don't hard turn 90 degrees), keep the cable curved gently. Nanti patah inside and create hotspot. |

QUOTE(rphoen1x @ Jul 30 2024, 01:37 PM) Sent , but no reply from them since ever hahaQUOTE(ceo684 @ Aug 12 2024, 02:02 AM) Make sure buy from proper seller. Many recon ABB and Hager from Singapore HIP refurbishing land in MY. Plus why don’t you get 6kA withstand model instead of the 4.5kA. ABB not expensive for 6kA Yes i bought from Authorised Reseller / Distributor shop (Pentapower(M) Sdn Bhd (Puchong) & (CPE Electrical Supplier via Shopee). But they say use 4.5k is enough . Or should i change all to 6k as developer provide? QUOTE(ceo684 @ Aug 12 2024, 02:06 AM) Your clamp meter not true RMS is it. Ya i redo the reading correct already , 1 WH running around 14A .... Incoming is 16mm from meter but thn 10mm to both RCCB (100mA & 30mA)One unit WH running from cold already take 14-16A easily. The 16mm one you can buy Mega Kabel meter loose cut in the correct colours (red and black) as necessary, but if your supply (from meter) is 10mm then no point lah. Also, not much use for the 100mA RCD when the 30mA RCD is capable for whole house sockets and lights. There is little point in using the 100mA RCD in modern day without fluorescent tube lights. For my WH , Developer no give RCCB / RCBO i added myself for safety . |

QUOTE(ceo684 @ Aug 12 2024, 08:11 PM) Forget the 100mA RCD (buang), rerun with 16mm inside the DB. That 10mm is only good for ard 40A and can create a hotspot which is unprotected because it is supposed to be 16mm throughout. means only use 1nos 30mA whole whole house? The empty space is 2 nos RCCB 0.01 .. not yet install when snap this ![]() This post has been edited by 13aby: Aug 12 2024, 09:08 PM |
