RTS is no longer a piped dream but will be completed by end2026. There r hundreds of thousand MYsian crossing over daily TO work or staying in SG. SG retirees or those WFH would rent out their SG home n stay in JB n the difference in rental should partially/fully pay for their monthly expenses in JB. Those families with couple working in SG would have a better life balance, n all r t20. MYsian from other states have already zooming here. But cost of living in JB would shoot up. JB might not grow like Shenzhen but it will grow unlike the past. With JSSEZ & RTS, more foreign n SG companies will move/expand to Greater JB just like some of the data centres. Another industry that will boom is the solar farm which is 50x more productive than oil palm. Every year will attract hundreds billion rm of new investment. Only worry is the water resource.
