Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a new iMac, the only thing that make me concern is the temperature having on top of the screen. It's very hot!

Is it ok? My house doesnt install an aircond, therefore, will it be ok?

Both my Mac Mini and Macbook CPU temperatures average around 60C for regular use, and they go up to 85C when doing CPU intensive stuff. I don't have an AC either and to be honest, I do worry about the temperatures being a bit on the hgh side. However everything's been stable for the past year.

isnt it better if u can feel the heat rather than it being trapped inside the casing?
the aluminum is doing a good job of dispersing the heat.
